I’ve recently been plagued by this thought about Political Correctness: Do we fully realize what we’re doing when we back off from speaking out against wrongs, or sharing God’s perspective on things because we don’t want to “offend” someone, or have others think poorly of us?
When we do that, aren’t we allowing our voices to be silenced and enabling the opposition and wrongdoers to continue changing society and grow unhindered in strength?
Who then are we really benefiting by our silence?
I believe when we are honest with ourselves with the answer, that will give us the swift kick we need, to stand up for what we believe, and break our silence to explain and show why we believe it too.
