You are an ambassador. And so am I. We are if we’re a believer and follower of Christ. Have you ever thought of us being so?
An ambassador is defined as a person who acts as a representative or promoter of a specific entity. And that is what each Christian has been called to do.
The last thing Jesus told everyone who believed in Him (before literally rising into the heavens in front of many witnesses, and returning to the Father) is we are to go into the world and be His Ambassadors.
Isn’t that what the Great Commission is?
Did you also know His “Go” command wasn’t just for those present. It was for any of us – past, present, and future – who believe and accept the Good News message Jesus personally delivered to us from the Father while He was here.
He was our living example of how to be an Ambassador for Him … we are then His representatives to this world … and we're to be living examples of the Good News Christ brought to all of mankind.
